A little bit about Hair by JFK
Hair by JFK is an Edinburgh salon which opened in 1995 led by husband and wife team Faruk Mohammed and Karen Brown. The salon, located in central Edinburgh; close to Edinburgh University, the Queens Hall and the Meadows is on two floors with ambience and comfort being a main feature.
The lower floor is used mainly for colouring and chemical work and promotes a soft and relaxing atmosphere. The upper floor is the main salon. With wooden sculptures created by John Paterson, the main salon has a hygenic and modern feel.
Hair by JFK prides itself on its eye for innovative and original hair designs and its emphasis on customer comfort and satisfaction. Karen Brown, in 2001 and 2003, was nominated for the British Hair Dresser of the Year Award (Avante-Guard).
